I hate celebs.. I do.. I have fed so many 'rock stars' and government people that it's annoying. but this is a man that I want his autograph.. and living this close to atlanta I really ought to got on that! although I dread ever cooking for this man! Alton and chef Keller (from the french laundry) are the only two people I am scared of.

Does anyone have the receipe for creamy lasagna using philly cream cheese wld really appreciate it

The Avocado Cake

I was watching Alton's show "Good Eats" last night and I watch in shock as he made a cake with Avocado frosting! I'm Puerto Rican so as a Latin person we only use Avocado's in salad. It was a little strange to see if turned into something sweet. I'm not sure if I would dare try the recipe.

Sweet butter

Do you know why Alton always use sweet butter in his cooking? He also adds salt. Why not just use salted butter and reduce or eliminate the salt?

Making Cooking Accessible, Informative and Fun

Alton seems to have a pretty large following, but I've just discovered how high-quality his shows generally are over the past year or so. Sure, you have to "suffer" through some really corny bits, but every show is packed with useful tips, history and science. "Good Eats" is definitely making me a better cook.
