Livening up your lunch at work

Hi everyone! I'm starting a thread on cooking at work. A lot of times I bring food to work and then don't feel like eating it because it looks unappetizing after being reheated. So I'm tempted to eat out - and bust my budget! Does anyone have any tips on how to liven up one's lunch in the kitchen at work? Any microwaving tips? Thanks!
