I picked up some swai, the fishmonger said it was a type of catfish, but didn't really taste like catfish. When I looked it up on Big Oven, I got some kind of bread pudding recipe, I know this isn't right but I still at am a loss as to what to do with the fish. Anyone got any ideas? I suppose you can never go wrong with the bread and pan fry method if its catfish.
Swai is indeed a type of Asian river catfish. Virtually any catfish recipe will do -- here's a quick list:
