hi whenever i make cake and beat cream for it, its always runny especially in hot summers in pakistan/please tell me the method how could i make it thick.
Which recipe are you trying?
I would try freezing a metal bowl first then put the cream in the freezer for about 15 minutes (still in carton) before pouring into the bowl then beat as normal then maybe refrigrate before use
I would use an electric mixer. Beating by hand would take forever.
I agree with kekeko- I always freeze my beaters and my bowl (metal) before whipping cream... if you're already doing this, then I suggest finding a cooler spot in your home to whip your cream if you can. You can also try adding some cream of tartar to help stiffen the cream, but this will alter the taste a little.
