PRINCE of a Program!!"
Thank you BigOven! In my search for the ultimate home
meal management program, I kissed a lot of toads!!
I think I downloaded
or read reviews on every recipe and or nutrition program known to the
internet...but each one was missing something. I just knew there
HAD to be a program for today's MOM, Thankfully BigOven came my way! The
layout is very professional...very cute and easy to manage without having to
read a lot of help files. They start you out with several recipes and you
can either download more with a direct import screen from their website (over
100,000 recipes) or ... I can use their cut and paste screen to import web
recipes and easily by a click tab each piece of information to file itself in
the right place. VERY SHARP... As a mom I want to ensure the
nutritional content is the very best. I can edit and link calories, fat , carbs
etc. with a click... This way I can get accurate carbs fat and calories for
even my own recipes (and believe me you will be surprised at how much little
stuff adds up!
You will love the
feature that in a click helps you increase the recipe to plan our you OMC day!!
Its well worth the registration fee I have a feeling when this really hits the
market the price will go WAY up. For those hardcore home managers...you can
develop your own tagging system in the key words area this enables you to pull
it up in a moments notice.. (example I just put all my 300 calories per serving
dishes in . I go to keywords and tag them level 1...bam can instantly plan a
day within my calorie requirements with all recipes that fit that data.) Very
COOL! I'm just now learning all the odds and ends but I have to say next to my
Kitchenaid this is going to be my most favorite tool to aid my effort in
providing the very best for my family. Great blessing for sure! Totally
worth the download.
"Great
software with awesome features"
I bought this when I was looking for software to organize food for a 3 week
honeymoon-backpacking trip. The way it helps you organize recipes &
shopping lists is incredible - it saved our wedding day! Since I bought it, the
functionality has only gotten better & better. I found a few minor bugs,
but I reported them and they were fixed right away - within a day or two. Also,
I suggested a couple of features in the areas that were just a little difficult
to use, and they implemented them! How's that for service! :) ...the
functionality is AWESOME - and easy to use!
"One
of a Kind!"
I've tried many computer based recipe organizers and have never
seen anything that remotely compares to BigOven. It all has a "Automatic" look
and feel as you go through and use the program and has many 1-step approaches
to getting what you want done. Drag-and-Drop support and add-a-recipe online to
your personal collection with a simple button click. Also another wonderful
thing I like about BigOven is that they actually read your suggestions for
program improvement on their website's message board and although I'm sure is
not guaranteed, they've actually implemented a couple of mine in a matter of
days. If your the average busy-bee American out there who would like to
organize your life in the kitchen without spending 3 or 4 hours a day doing it,
then this program is definitely for you. Give it a test drive and you won't be
disappointed; I wasn't!
"Great recipe software"
BigOven is a must have in any serious kitchen. Developers are extremely
friendly and are always adding customer requested features to an already
comprehensive software. The choice for recipe software is overwhelming and I
tried at least a dozen of them. This is the best there is.
