[caveat -- please note we're not trying to pass the buck here, the below is just by way of explanation]
This looks like an error generated by the InstallShield™ installer, which is the software we use to install the BigOven.exe and other related files onto your PC. There are no changes in the BigOven build itself that would have caused this; we haven't made any programming changes to the way the installer program works in many, many months (something like 11+ months or so).
But we searched on "InstallShield 5006" in Google (note, do not search on "InstallShield -5006" with the minus sign, because in Google, this means 'eliminate from search results all searches containing 5006'")… and got the following links that might help:

This suggests that perhaps the "Personal" folder on your computer isn't correctly configured.
I sent Max a little test program to see if certain system folders were valid. It turned out that "the "Personal" folder was incorrectly configured. Looking around the machine it became apparent that the "My Documents" setting was pointing to an invalid drive. Fixing this cures the runtime error."
So make sure that the following system folders are valid:
Windows folder
Windows System folder
Common Files folder
Program Files folder
Personal folder
Application Data folder
Temporary folder
Another thread relates to older versions of InstallShield causing a problem:

text, below: "…I was stuck on an installer with the 5006:0X8000FFFF error, but I think I figured out how to fix it. If you are runnning XP or Windows in general go to:
Program Files
then:
Common Files
You should see a folder labeled InstallShield, right-click and delete it. Now try running the install again and it should work! :D
This might not work for all 5006 errors..."
