I purchase BigOvenDeluxe a week ago and have started noticing issues with older recipes I entered getting replaced with sections of newly entered recipes. Here are the details:
-
I created new recipe boxes to house all of my recipes. The new boxes are named in the form "C.Subject" (e.g., "C.Desserts", "C.Salads", etc.).
-
I start up BigOven.
-
I click on the recipe box in which I want the new recipe to appear.
-
I type in the new recipe.
-
I hit the view button on the new recipe to verify that it is entered correctly.
-
I then go to a different recipe box and start looking through the older recipes.
-
Several time, I have found that one of the old recipes now has parts of the newly entered recipe.
-
The affected recipe box seems to be completely random (it's not the same recipe box that gets corrupted).
-
It seems to be unrelated to what recipe box I'm adding the new recipe to.
-
I've noticed the corruption in both the instructions and the source information.
-
When corrupted, the old information is completely replaced by the new information.
-
I do run BigOven on a laptop. There haven't been any abnormal shutdowns, but the laptop will sometimes go into hibernation mode while BigOven is still open.
Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? And, more importantly, does anyone know of a way to fix it and avoid it from happening again? As it is, there is no point in me continuing to use the program if it is going to mix up my recipes.
