When I generate a shopping list, some items appear against the wrong department (e.g. rice vinegar appears against "Rice and Grains" rather than against "Asian" as I have set it).  I have checked my ingredient list and do not have a blank ingredient causing this, although I do seem to have a blank department.  Is the blank department causing the problem and if so how do I remove it?  Many thanks.

It sounds like it's simply finding the "rice" in "rice vinegar" and thinking that it belongs in the rice and beans section.  Go to Tools/Ingredients, add "Rice Vinegar", with the department "Condiments" (or whatever you'd like), and next time, it should properly assign this ingredient.

Hi, I already had it in my ingredients list.  However when I posted my query, no blank ingredient was showing in my list, one has since mysteriously appeared and removing it has solved the problem.  Many thanks for looking into this.
