    liter is not Litre

     Hello :)

Being Australian we use mostly metric measurements mixed. However whener I enter a litre, BigOven does not compute. Even if I use the builtin spelling of liter, Bigoven still will not scale this measurement. I had to enter it as either 1000 ml or 4 cups. :( When entered as 1 liter or litre, the measurement doesn't change when the recipe is scaled.

Wasn't sure where to post this.

Thanks for your comment -- BigOven will actually scale the unit, but note that when in metric-display mode, it will not display fractions.  So if you have, say, 1 liter (US spelling, sorry), and multiply the recipe by 2, you'll see 2 liters as the scaled amount.  But if you scale it by 1/4 (0.25), you'll still only see 1 liter in the scaled amount.  We agree this is a bug that should be remedied, probably by displaying the decimal value in metric mode.  You're quite right that the right workaround for the time being is to enter liters in terms of Mils, since they won't ever need a fractional amount.
