BigOven

I upgraded computers and am now running Vist with my Big Oven.  I am having a problem when I click the Find button and then the more options button.  The next window that opens does not open to the full width of what it used to on Windows XP.  I can't widen the box to show the selection options for which recipe box to look in and the Find Recipe and Cancel button are only showing half of the button.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Are there going to be any patches of fixes coming for the Vista compatability problems?

This isn't a Vista compatibility problem -- it runs just fine on Vista. The issue is you've set your display to a large fonts or large Dots Per Inch (DPI) setting, and currently BigOven requires the default setting, which is Normal / 96 DPI.  This is regardless of whether it's in Vista or XP.  In several parts of the program, we have limited screen real estate and large fonts or large DPI's just don't work well. These can be adjusted in the Vista Control Panel (Personalization).

We've logged this as an enhancement request and will see what we can do to rectify it in the future, but for now, just set the fonts back to normal and it shoudl work fine.

Thank you for your quick response.  Yes, I remember setting up large fonts on my new computer because it has the wide screen.  I am glad to know this is not a Vista compatability issue.  I will try adjusting my font size back because I do like the advance search options of Big Oven and use it often.  Again thank you for your quick response and the great support that you offer with this software.  I have and will continue to recommend Big Oven to my friends.
