Suggest a better descriptionsift flour and salt into mixing bow. Using pastry blender, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle in the water, one tablespoon at a time unti dough comes together. Roll out dough and place into pie pan. LIne pie shell with wax paper and weigh it down with dry beans or pie weights. Bake 10 min. at 400 deg. Remove weights and bake until shell is set and beige in color, about 5 minutes longer. Cool.
Beat eggs well. Add cream, milk, mustard, salt and pepper, and cheese. Add whatever other ingredients you like (bacon, veggies, etc.)
Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees until tooth pick comes out cleanly.
