Wine-steamed king crab legs

Ready in 45 minutes

-- For the crab --
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 tablespoon Butter
1/4 cup Garlic; thinly sliced
2 tablespoon Shallot; minced
-add cover and steam --
2 pounds King crab legs; cut into sections
3/4 cup Sauvignon blanc
1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
4 each Lemon; wedges
1 each Bay leaf

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Heat the oil and T butter for the crab in a large saute pan over medium heat. Saute garlic and shallots until garlic is soft, about 2 min.

Add the crab, wine,pepper flakes, lemons, and bay leaf. Increase heat to high, cover and simmer 5 min stirring after 2min.

Transfer crab lemons and bay leaf to a bowl using a slotted spooncover and keep warm.
