Preheat oven to 400
1) Melt butter and slowly cook apples. 6-8 min.
2) Add br sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for 5 min until carmelized.
3) Roll out the pastry. Place on cookie sheet with parchment.
4) Arrange apples in tight rows (3). 1" from edge.
5) Pour some of the remaining syrup.
6) Put egg on edges, top with remaining pastry, crimp the edges. Brush with remaining egg.
