Asparagus Parmesan

This delicious recipe couldn't be simpler, and adds a tasty accompaniment to the main dish. Especially good with fish or pasta.

Ingredients

1/2 pound asparagus

1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated

1/8 teaspoon pepper


Directions

Trim the ends off the asparagus. Place asparagus in steamer and steam for 8 minutes. Transfer asparagus to plate. Gently toss the asparagus with olive oil to coat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper. Microwave, uncovered, 40 seconds to melt cheese. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
