Benihana Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 c Sake

1 c Mirin

1 c Sugar

1 c Soy sauce

Juice of 1 Apple or 3 apple juice

1/3 c Cornstarch dissolved in 1/3

5 ts Ketchup

1 pinch black pepper


Directions

Combine first seven imngredients in saucepan and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Gradually stir in disolved cornstarch solution until mixed well. Stir well before serving. may be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Recipe by: COOKING LIVE SHOW #CL9281
