3/4 cups orange marmalade
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup whole-grain Dijon mustard
1/4 cup bourbon
2 Tbsp lemon juice fresh, if possible
scant 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 bone-in half ham (about 6-8 lbs)
This is a Christmas and Easter staple for us now. Get a decent sized shank ham (you can certainly do spiral cut ham if you prefer it) from the store, throw away the glaze that comes with it and follow the recipe. The ham is amazing, with tons of flavor thanks to this glaze. The sauce is phenomenal too!
