Braised Turkey

Ingredients

2 Thighs or 1 breast

1/2 cup All purpose flour Whole wheat ok

1 tablespoon Poultry Seasoning

2 tablespoon Olive oil

1 onion sliced

8 ounces Portobello mushrooms sliced

2 cloves garlic crushhed

1 cup Chicken broth

1/2 can comdensed cream chick soup

2 tablespoon Dry sherry

1 1/2 teaspoons Dried oregano, parlsey, thyme, shallots, rosemary

2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

3 Carrots sliced

2 Bay leaf optional


Directions

Mix flour with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Dredge turkey in flour. Heat oil in large skillet or dvutch ovev. Brown turkey on each side 5 minutes and remove. Brown onion, garlic, shallots, and mushrooms for 5 to 7 minutes. Return turkey to pan. Mix soup, sherry, broth and seasonings together and pour over turkey. Cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
