Candied Walnuts

Great on salad with field greens, raspberry vinaigrette and bleu cheese.

Ingredients

2 teaspoon Unsalted butter

1 tablespoon Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Cayenne

1 tablespoon Water

2/3 cup Walnut halved


Directions

In small skillet, melt butter. Add sugar, salt, pepper, and water and stir until smooth. When it is bubbling, add walnuts and stir until coated. Cook about 5 minutes until walnuts are carmelized. Set aside and cool before using in salad.
