Candied Walnuts

Ingredients

1 quart Water

2 1/2 cups Walnuts

3/4 cup Powdered sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp Cinnamon

1/2 tsp Nutmeg


Directions

Preheat oven to 300F. Cover bottom of a15"x10"x1 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Bring water to boil in large saucepan. Add walnuts; stir. Boil 2 minutes. Meanwhile, mix sugar, salt , cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl; set aside. Drain walnuts well. Add to sugar mixture; toss to coat. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Cool completely. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
