CHEDDAR-BACON LOAF

Ingredients

1 16 ounce Loaf French Bread

1/2 cup Butter softened

1 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese 4 ounces

6 slices Bacon crisp-cooked, drained, and crumbled

1/4 cup Sliced green onions

2 teaspoons Yellow mustard

1 teaspoon Lemon juice


Directions

- Cut bread crosswise into 1-inch slices, cutting to but not through the bottom crust. - In a small bowl, stir together butter, cheese, bacon, onions, mustard, and lemon juice. - Spread mixture on both sides of each bread slice. - Wrap loaf tightly in heavy foil. - Preheat grill - Reduce heat to medium. - Grill uncovered about 10 minutes or until cheese melts and bread is heated through, turning once.
