Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

1 Egg

1 c Flour

1 c Dried cranberries

1 c Brown sugar

3/4 c Unsalted Butter softened

1/4 c Water

1/2 ts Baking soda

1/2 c Sugar

1/2 ts Salt

1 ts Vanilla

12 oz Semisweet chocolate chips

3 c Quick Oatmeal


Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Place cranberries and 1/4 cup water in a bowl, cover and microwave for 2 minutes. Let stand for 1 minutes, then drain and cool. Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg, water, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips, and cranberries. Drop onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes. Recipe By :

These are too thin and crumbly. Love the flavors though. I think softening the cranberries with water is the problem.

Very tasty flavour! A little sweet, I might cut back on the sugar next time. And I second the "crumbly" nature... but still delish!

Very easy to make it! Delicious! My one year old loved them. Slightly crumbly, I did use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter for baking sticks. Loved the chocolate with cranberries. I will make them again. Thanks!
