Crock Pot Pork Roast with Sauerkraut

Ingredients

3 lbs. Pork Tenderloin Roast

1 qt. Sauerkraut (Bagged kind)

1 each Good sized Cooking Apple peeled and chopped.

1 each Medium Onion peeled and chopped.

1 cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Apple Juice

1 pinch Caraway seeds

1 pinch salt

1 pinch pepper


Directions

Layer in 1/2 onions and 1/2 apples. Season Pork Roast with salt and pepper, and place on top of onions and apples. Put remaining apples and onions on top of roast. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Drain Sauerkraut and place on top. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of sauerkraut. Pour apple juice around the sides. Cook for 8 hours on Low in a Crock Pot.

I must have done something wrong. I followed directions to a T. I was very disappointed with the taste of this recipe. I love sauerkraut too. There wasn't much in the way of flavor.
