Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler "Dump Cake"

I have found that the "LITE" can fruit works the best, try different ones, if you use the "Heavy Syrup" Fruit with the concentrated sugar in the cake mix I think is too much sweet.

Ingredients

2 cans peaches sliced

Duncan Hinds yellow or white cake mix

1/4 stick butter Melted or sliced thin and place on top of cake

1 teaspoon Cyanine Pepper warm it up ( optional ) mix in to

Directions

This is called a "Dump Cake" because you simply dump the ingredients "IN" the Dutch Oven DO NOT STUR, If you do it will catch on and burn try to dump the cake mix in as evenly as you can and use your finger to simply make it level on the top, resist the temptation to mix or STUR. 8, 10, 12" Dutch oven put in as many cans of peaches as you want but no more than 2/3 full First, get your coals hot, Pre-heat Dutch Oven, but not too hot. Next put the 2 cans of peaches in the Dutch oven. Dump the DRY cake mix over the peaches. pour melted butter over the cake mix, Start with only heat on the bottom, "boil this cake until the cake mix is all wet" then take the coals from under the dutch oven, now put the heat on the top until brown and sugar is caramelized, and brown. Place Dutch oven in the hot coals. Cook, for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
