Eggnog French Toast

Ingredients

5 Eggs

1 1/2 cup Eggnog /Half and Half/ Milk

2 tablespoons Sugar

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon rum extract

12 slices French bread less than 1 loaf

Powdered sugar


Directions

Grease 15x10x1 inch baking pan. In large bowl, combine eggs, eggnog(milk), sugar, nutmeg,vanilla and rum extract. Beaet until well blended. Arrange bread slices in greased pans. Pour egg mixture over bread in pans. Lift and move bread sliceds until all egg mixture is absorbed. Cover with foil, refrigerate overnight, or freeze up to one week. Heat oven to 500 degrees. Remove casserole from refrigerator (or freezer- don't thaw.) Revove foil, bake pan at 400 for about 35 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. If doubling and cooking at the same time, switch pans in oven 1/2 way through baking time.
