2 cups brandy

1 cup natural sliced almonds toasted

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter melted

1 tablespoon light molasses

1 large egg beaten

1 tart apple such as Granny Smith peeled and grated on the large holes of a box grater (about 1 cup)

1 lemon, zested and juiced

1 orange, zested and juiced

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

One 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter at room temperature

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

1 tablespoon bourbon

1 tablespoon maple syrup
