Fruit and Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

1/2 16 oz pkg broccoli slaw mix (about 2 1/2 cups)

1 cup seedless red grapes halved

1 medium apple cored & chopped

1/3 cup bottled poppy seed salad dressing

2 medium oranges peeled seeded, and sectioned

1/2 cup coarsest chopped pecans or walnuts toasted


Directions

To Section a peeled orange, hold it over a bowl to catch the juices. Cut down against the inside membrane of one segment on both sides and release segment. Repeat with remaining segments, removing any seeds. Combine shredded broccoli, grapes, and apple. Pour salad dressing over broccoli mixture; add oranges and toss gently to coat. Cover and chill 1 to 4 hours. Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle with its; toss again. Makes 6 to 8 servings. To toast nuts: preheat oven to 350. Spread nuts single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake 5 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, watching carefully and stirring once or twice.
