Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

2 cups plain flour

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup cooking oil

1/4 cup Grandma’s Molassas

1 egg

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cloves


Directions

Put flour into a bowl and blend in brown sugar with a fork or whisk until well blended. Add spices and soda then blend again. Next add oil, molasses and egg. Blend with a beater until mixture is smooth. Roll into small balls and then roll each around in the sugar bowl. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 8 minutes or until cookie crackles.

Love this recipe, very easy and delicious. I make them every year and there always a hit. Plus easy enough to do as a fun project with my 5yr old daughter.

Im going back to my old recipe. These weren't very good. 3/4 c oil is too much.
