Ingredients

14 ounces Light brown sugar

22 ounces Granulated sugar

12 ounces Shortening

1/2 ounce Baking soda

1/2 ounce Salt

3 ounces molasses

12 ounces Eggs

1/4 ounce Ginger

1/4 ounce Cinnamon

36 ounce cake flour


Directions

Directions: 1.Cream together the sugars, shortening, baking soda, and salt. 2.Slowly add the mollasses and eggs. 3.Sift the flour with spices; combine with the above ingredients until mixed. Chill the dough at least 4 to 6 hours. 4.Roll out and cut with cookie cutter to desired shape. Place on parchment-lined sheet pans for baking, Bake at 375°F to 400°F for 20 minutes or less depending on size of cut out.
