Ingredients

2 10.75-oz cans Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons Soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

8 cups grean beans cooked

2 2/3 cups french fried onions


Directions

Stir soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until hot. Stir. Top with remaining onions. Bake for 5 minutes more.

Simple to make, tastes great!

Similar to the recipe on the soup can. I prefer this to the recipe on the French's package because it uses soy sauce. This adds a nice dimension to the flavor. For the green beans, I use 2 cans of Ralphs brand extra green green beans. This dish is always on my Thanksgiving and Easter dinner menus. Great for potlucks, too, It can be assembled a few days ahead, even baked. Just leave the final steps where the topping is added and then bake long enough to warm it up and get the top crusty. Thanks for posting it. I'm transitioning to my iPad from my pile of clipped recipes and worn out cook books. Big Oven stores the in the cloud. This will save me a scan;)

For alternatives try Cheese Lovers: Omit soy sauce. Stir in 1/2 cup shredded cheddar with soup. Add additional cheese when toppping with onions. Broccoli: Substitute 4 cups cooked broccoli florets for green beans. [I posted this recipe.]
