5 apples, about 2 pounds thinly sliced (peel, if desired, but I don't)

2 tablespoons maple syrup (honey would work but is not vegan)

1 tablespoon lemon juice (1/2 lemon juiced)

1 cup rolled oats (use gluten free if desired)

1/2 cup almond meal/flour

1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) MELT coconut oil or nondairy butter, melted
