Homemade Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

M&Ms Plain Chocolate Candy

4 c milk

2 ts Vanilla extract

1/4 c Cornstarch

2 tb Butter or margarine

1/2 ts Salt

1/2 c Baking Cocoa

1 c Sugar


Directions

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Chill until serving. Sprinkle with M&Ms if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings. Used a half a cup of cocoa instead (hubbys a chocolate lover), and used flour instead and it came out great! It tasted good but seemed to be missing something.. Besides that very quick and a great recipe, this one's a keeper!

This is sooo good warm or cold. Easy to make. Love this recipe! Much better than snack pack puddings, which I used to buy by the case.

Very yummy! I had never made homemade pudding before and this recipe was the first one I found and used. Even my husband who isn't a huge chocolate fan ate it up, I put some crushed oreos in the bottom of the cups then the pudding and some whipped cream soo tasty! Thanks for sharing it!
