Indian Spice Beef Stew

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Cooking oil

2 tablespoons All purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder

2 Pounds Beef stew meat

8 Garlic cloves Crushed

1 tablespoon Coriander seeds Crushed

1 tablespoon Cumin

1/3 Cup Tomato paste

3 large Carrots Chopped in chunks

2 Large Potatoes Cubed

2 Cups Beef broth

1 Cup Red wine

Salt and pepper


Directions

Heat oil. Place flour, salt, cardamom on plate. Dip each cube of meat into mixture and sear in nonstick pan. Add garlic, cumin, coriander, and tomato paste and cook for two minutes. Transfer meat, carrots, potatoes, broth, wine, salt and pepper to slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Reduce to low and cook 5-6 hours.
