Jeanette's Cutout Cookies

These cut outs are delicious, but they are not easy to make. Roll the dough really thin and when done correctly, they melt in your mouth. Roll to 1/16"-1/8". 375* 10 minutes

Ingredients

2 cups Sugar

2 cups Butter softened

4 Eggs well beaten

5 cups Flour

2 teaspoon Baking soda

4 teaspoon Cream of tartar

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Nutmeg I only use 1/2 teaspoon


Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flour mixture. Let cool then divide into about 6 pieces and wrap in wax paper. Keep refrigerated. Roll and cut out. Sprinkle with colored sugar.
