Ingredients

1 small finely chopped

1/4 cup chopped

1 tablespoon

2 cloves crushed

800 gram

1/2 cup gluten free

1 lightly beaten

1/4 cup torn

500 gram


Directions

1. Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Lightly spray with oil. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Add basil and salt and pepper. (Put on vegetable to steam, or rice as a side dish) 2. Meanwhile, combine mince, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, mint, feta and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Using wet hands, shape tablespoons of mixture into balls. 3. Heat a non stick frying pan over medium heat. Spray with oil. Cook meatballs in batches, for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and cooked through. 4. Stir back into sauce mixture and mix in. Serve with steamed green vegetables or rice.
