Narsais Asparagus Sauce

Ingredients

2 Oranges

1/2 Jalapeno chile pepper;

1 Lemon; zest and juice

4 Green onions; minced

6 Sprigs basil or mint;

1 lb Asparagus; steamed

1/3 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil


Directions

CITRUS: 1 lemon: grate the peel, zest only; squeeze for juice. 2 oranges: grated zest; peel and finely dice the sections. Mix all ingredients together and use over a bunch of asparagus to feed 4 to 6. Hanneman (5/7/98).
