I used a loaf of brioche and thought it looked rather basic. All of the goodness comes at the bottom. Very easy since my brioche came sliced.

This was much better than I expected it to be. I was worried that it would be too sweet but it was really perfect (for me) without any syrup or sugar. I used a bagged Country White bread because the bakery was already out of the other. It still turned out great.

Delicious!

This was a last-minute meal, so I didn't have time to let it sit overnight. Used Texas toast slices and popped it right in the oven. For those wondering if it will be good if it doesn't set, rest easy: it was wonderful. Putting this into our favorites and our rotation, so I'll try letting it sit next time and compare.
