My grandmothers homemade pie crust

Ingredients

4 Cups All purpose flour

1 3/4 Cups Vegetable shorting

1 tablespoon White vinegar

1 Egg

1 Tablespoon Sugar

2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Water


Directions

With a fork mix together the flour, shorting, sugar and salt in a separate bowl. In a separate bowl beat together the vinegar, egg, and water. Then combine the two bowl while continuing to mix with a fork until all ingredients are most. Take out of bowl and mold with your hands. Line pie dish with at least one inche over the rim. Add your filling and use extra crust to lay over the filling.
