Ingredients

28 ounces Crushed tomatoes San Marzano

2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil

1/2 large Sweet onion Diced

3 cloves Garlic Minced

1 teaspoon Sugar

1 teaspoon Dried oregano

2 teaspoons Dried basil

2 tablespoons Tomato paste


Directions

In a saucepan, heat EVOO; sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic. Sauté 1-2 minutes. Add canned tomatoes, salt & pepper to taste, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 15 minutes or until consistency you desire. Add sugar and tomato paste. Remove from heat while prepping dough. Makes enough for approximately 3 large pizzas. Store excess in fridge or freezer.
