Red, white, and Blue Mashed Potatoes

Red potatoes kissed by butter and married to blue cheese.

Ingredients

5 pounds Red potatoes Well scrubbed and quartered

1/4 Pound Blue cheese Crumbled

1 Stick Salted butter Cubed

1/2 Cup Whole milk Room temperature

Salt and pepper to taste


Directions

Fill a large soup pot with cold water, pinch of salt and cubed potatoes. Bring to boil and cook for 25 minutes or until they are fork tender. Drain the water and add the butter, milk, blue cheese and salt and pepper. Mash potatoes using a potatoe masher, and let the heat from the potatoes melt the butter and cheese into the mixture. Serve immediately.
