Ingredients

1 lb. Breakfast Sausage

1/2 cup onion finely chopped

1 clove Garlic minced

2 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup all purpose flour

3 cups whole milk

1/2 teaspoon salt to taste

2 teaspoons coarse black pepper to taste


Directions

Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink. Add onions and continue to cook until the onion is translucent. Add butter and stir until melted. Stir in flour and garlic, saute for about a minute. Gradually stir in milk; bring to a low boil and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Serve over split biscuits.

Made this for the first time at a Fantasy Football Draft breakfast that we had this morning. Twelve hungry men devoured this gravy and there was nothing left. Plenty of compliments, easy to make and perfect results. Could not have been more pleased with the outcome or the fact that we cooked the whole recipe in just one skillet!! Thanks for the contribution.
