Shepherds Pie

Ingredients

1 tablespoon oil

2 onions chopped

450 grams minced lamb or beef

2 teaspoon plain flour

2 carrots peeled and chopped

2 tablespoons Tomato puree

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon Dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon Dried rosemary

300 ml beef or veg stock

1 kg Floury potatoes

butter

milk

2 tablespoons marmite


Directions

Heat oil and add onions and fry until soft and brown. Stir in meat and fry until brown then add flour. Add carrots, tomato puree, worcestershire sauce, herbs, marmite and stock. Season then bring to boil, cover and simmer for 30 mins. Add water if needed. Make mash Add mice to oven dish then top with mash. Bake for 30-35 mins until top is brown and crispy.
