Shrimp Drop Soup

Ingredients

3/4 pound raw shrimp

1 can water chestnuts

2 Egg whites

2 teaspoons Soy sauce

1 teaspoon Sesame oil

pepper

2 49.5 cans chicken broth

2 tablespoons Soy sauce

3 cups napa cabbage lightly packed, shredded

12 ounces frozen peas


Directions

Prepare shrimp mixture: Shell and devein shrimp. In food processor, whirl until finely ground. Add next five ingredients and whirl until blended. In 4 quart pan, bring broth to boil. Add soy sauce. Using teaspoons or hands, drop 1/2 teaspoon portions of shrimp mix into boiling broth. As alls rise to surface, remove with slotted spoon. (Can cover and refrigerate shrimp balls and broth till next day.) Just before serving, return broth to boil. Add cabbage, peas and shrimp balls. Cook until cabbage is bright green (1-2 minutes)
