Slop Surprise!

Ground beef, mixed veggies in a broth - serve with mashed potatoes or rice.

Ingredients

1 lb of lean ground beef

2 cups of beef broth

1 tbsp beef bovril (up to 2)

2 cups mixed veggies (whatever you have on hand)

1 can tomatoes diced

1 onion diced

3 cups cooked elbow macaroni (or whatever you have on hand)

1 tsp spices (to your taste) (up to 2)

1 tsp currie powder (optional) (up to 2)


Directions

In large frying pan cook ground beef, drain fat, toss in diced onions, and cook till transparent. Add spices, beef broth, bovril, veggies, tomatoes. Stir in cooked macaroni. Simmer on med/low for 10-15 minutes. Serve. NOTE: If desired you can thicken the mixture with 1-2 tbsp of cornstarch mixed to a paste with cold water, add to the beef mixture and heat till boiling and thickened to desired consistency.
