Squash Casserole

This is a wonderful autumn side dish for a dinner party.

Ingredients

2 lbs Yellow Squash sliced

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

1/2 can Water Chestnuts sliced

2 Carrots grated

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 pkg. Herb Seasoned Stuffing crushed

1 8 oz. carton Sour Cream

1 medium Onion chopped fine

6 Tablespoons Margarine


Directions

Cook squash until tender; drain. Add undiluted soup, water chestnuts, onion, carrots and salt and pepper; mix. Melt margarine and add to crushed stuffing mixture. Put 1/2 of this mixture in bottom of 9x9x2" pan. Put squash mixture of top and then remaining crumbs on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
