St. Louis Style Pizza

Ingredients

2 cup & 2 T flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp Baking powder

2 tsp Olive oil

2 tsp dark corn syrup

1/2 cup & 2 T water

14 oz diced tomatoes

4 oz Tomato paste

1 1/ T sugar

1 tsp basil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp thyme

1 cup cheese (mozzarella & cheddar)

2 tsp Oregano


Directions

Combine flour, salt, baking powder, olive oil, corn syrup and water to large bowl. Mix well, roll thin for two 12" pie crusts. Pre-bake crusts for 7 minutes. In a separate bowl combine tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, basil, salt and thyme to make sauce. Add cheese and other toppings as desired. Sprinkle with 2 tsp oregano, 2 tsp basil, 1 tsp thyme Bake 450° for 10 -12 minutes
