1. Boil whole tomatoes and jalapenos together in water for 30 minutes or until tomato skins peel away and you smell the spicy smell of jalapenos.
2. Chop the onion and cilantro and set aside in a large bowl.
3. Drain tomatoes & jalapenos and place in a blender along with the garlic and blend until liquified.
4. Pour liquid from blender into bowl and use a spoon to mix with onion and cilantro.
5. Add salt to taste.
6. Serve with tortilla chips or with other mexican food.
