Warm grilled Muffoletta

Ingredients

1 large round Italian bread seeded with sesame

1 cup Olive Salad with oil

0.25 lb Mortadella Sliced

0.25 lb Genoa Salami Sliced

0.25 lb Capicola Sliced

0.25 lb Mozzarella Sliced

0.25 lb Provolone Sliced

1 Spray grease PAM brand is fine

2 Bacon irons or clean bricks

1 Wooden cutting board

1 Panini press in place of irons and board


Directions

Split bread in half horizontally Drizzle oil from Olive Salad on each half Spread olive salad on each half Layer meats evenly on one half of bread Top layered meats with cheeses, layered evenly Cover layers with remaining half of prepared bread Heat greased griddle to medium. A panini press can be used in place of griddle. Place sandwich on heated griddle, place cutting board atop bread. Weight with bacon irons or clean bricks. Grill until sandwich heats through, and cheese is melted, but before bread browns. Remove sandwich from griddle and slice into four equal sections.

This looks great, and Im going to make it. We have a place called Hog Wild we go with a true cajun cook there and he makes this. I absolutely love it, and didn't know how to make it. Ill make it and let you know real soon. Thanks for posting
