Ingredients

Chicken

Dried Shrimp

Dried mushrooms

Whole garlic

Ginger

Mijiu - cooking wine

white pepper powder

Soy sauce

Fried red onion

Shallot flakes

5 spice powder - wu xiang fen

Chinese sausages


Directions

1. Add mushroom, dried shrimp in wok and stir. 2. Add in chicken when fragrance comes out. 3. Add sesame oil. 4. Add dried shallots and garlic. 5. Be very careful with the garlic that it doesn't burn. If it burns, it will become bitter. 6. Add in a circle of mijiu, soy sauce, and water from the mushrooms. 7. Add white pepper powder. 8. 5 spice powder. 9. Add water. 10. Add uncooked rice. 11. Add everything in the rice cooker and cook. Note: The sauce itself can be saltier since you are adding rice.
