A hot and spicy pasta with some left over extras
Boil water with salt to taste and cook pasta as per directions (11 minutes in general - leave the final 1 minute for cooking with sauce)
Cut asparagus into thirds, reserving the tips for later.
Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Add the tomatoes and the bottom 2/3rds of the asparagus and lightly fry.
Remove the seeds form the jalapeno, finely chop and add to the fry pan. Add the chopped Chorizo. Continually stir. Add the pasta sauce and turn to low
Place the tips into the pasta for the final few minutes of cooking.
Drain the pasta and asparagus and tip the sauce into the pasta dish, stirring over low heat for the last minute.
Serve with a sprinkle of mozzarella
I added my leftover feta to the pasta sauce, and you could add chicken breast if you don't like chorizo
