Bake 375 for 8-10 minutes.
Cream butter until smooth in large bowl. Add sugars and beat until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Into a small bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Slowly beat dry ingredients into wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop 2-3 T, 2 in apart on cookie sheet. Makes 50-4inch cookies.
Martha uses 2 cups of chips in this recipe and chills the dough for 1 hour and baked 10-12 minutes, rotating pan halfway thru baking time.
I cut in half or 4ths for smaller cookies and batch.
